Paleo Runs are training sessions that simulate the movements humans performed when hunting: a lot of running with intense burst of functional exercises in between.
Hard Paleo Runs differs from traditional ones in that 3 functional training exercises are carried out in a row followed by active recovery running.
Complete a number of laps of the following sequence of 3 exercises as fast as possible
Run for 60 – 90 seconds between laps.
- Number of exercises: 3
- Race time: 60 – 90 seconds
- Level of Personal Intensity: 70% (80% during the performing of the exercises and 60% during the race)
- Length of session: 25 – 40 minutes
2 laps without rest between them to the following circuit:
- 50 Sit-ups
- 30 Press-ups
- 40 Spider planks
- 1 minute of gentle running
