- Medium onion

- Bay leaf
Wash the ingredients in plenty of water.
Peel the vegetables. Cut the potato and beetroot into medium slices and cut the onion in half.
Put 3-4oz of water in a steamer (you could also use a strainer or colander). When the water comes to a boil add the vegetables and allow to cook for 10 – 15 mins until ready.Add the bay leaf, pepper and salt while cooking.
Drizzle with olive oil to serve.
