- Wash the mussels in plenty of water and remove the beards.
- Put the mussels in a pan, add coarse sea salt, bay leaves, half a lemon and a glass of water.
- Cover the pan and put it on the stove. After it comes to a boil, leave it to simmer for a few minutes and, when you can see the mussels are open, remove from heat.
- Serve with a few slices of lemon.
