Shrimp and crab salad

  • Crab stick
  • Potato
  • Carrot
  • Cooked shrimp
  • Mayonnaise


  1. Add potatoes (cleaned and with skin) to saucepan with cold water and bring to a boil.
  2. Add the carrots (peeled).
  3. Cook for 35 minutes and check for tenderness before removing the saucepan from the burner.
  4. Drain water and allow cooling.
  5. Peel the potatoes.
  6. Chop the potatoes and carrots into cubes.
  7. Cut the crab sticks into slices.
  8. In a bowl, combine the potatoes, carrots, cooked shrimp and crab sticks. Add the mayonnaise and mix all ingredients gently.
  9. Add salt as needed. For the mayonnaise: · Break an egg into a mixing bowl, add a splash of vinegar, some salt and plenty of olive oil. · Put the blender arm right at the bottom of the mixture and blend continuously without raising it until the mixture emulsifies. · When the mixture starts to emulsify, carefully move the blender up and down . Place in a bowl and set aside in the fridge.
