- olive oil
- Wash and peel potatoes.
- Cut into fairly thin slices (they will be easier to cook.)
- Put the potatoes onto an oven proof dish with salt, pepper, unpeeled garlic cut in half, herbs to taste, a splash of olive oil and the juice of half a lemon.
- Bake for 20 or 30 minutes at 18 degrees C, 350 degrees F, or Gas Mark 4, until the potatoes are cooked through.
