Beef Steak Tartare

  • Egg yolk
  • Minced beef meat
  • Chive
  • Caper
  • Dill pickles
  • Olive oil
  • Spicy sauce
  • Mustard


  1. Season the ground beef (you could even ground your own.)
  2. Chop the onion, capers and chilli as finely as possible.
  3. Add the meat to a bowl with the chopped vegetables and a little mustard, some drops of Tabasco, pepper, a good splash of extra virgin olive oil and salt. Mix well and, if you can, leave it in the fridge for 15 minutes so the ingredients will tenderize the meat.
  4. When it is just right, make it into the shape of a volcano and put an egg yolk into the gap.
